Afolabi vows to end Huck’s reign tonight

British Nigerian boxer, Ola Afolabi has told his German opponent, Marco Huck that there will be no hiding place for him tonight when both boxers square-up for the World Boxing Organisation (WBO) cruiserweight title at the Max Schmeling Halle in Berlin, Germany.
Both boxers have met in two occasions with the German winning the first in December 2009 on unanimous decision, while the second fight in May 2012 ended in a draw.
But Afolabi, who is of Nigerian parents, believes that the German has been very lucky in both occasions and he would not be this time around.
“Against Huck, there will be a battle and he will have no place to hide.
“The last two victories against Firat Arslan and against me were gifts for Huck.  And also the first fight against me, Marco did not win.  For me it was a draw. “
“To win against Huck in Berlin you need to knock him out because that is the only way to guarantee victory. But I think people have the final judgments of Huck struggles in their heads. “
However, he showed some respect to Huck, whom he described as a very technically sound boxer, who must not be handled with kid gloves.

An optimistic Afolabi boasted that he has been well prepared for the fight by Vitali Klitschko trainer, Fritz Sdunek, and he believes it is enough to dethrone Huck tonight.
