Confed Cup: Enyeama blames fatigue for loss

Stand-in Eagles skipper, Vincent Enyeama, has blamed fatigue as the major reason for the Eagles 1-2 loss to Uruguay Thursday at the ongoing Confederations Cup.
And the former Enyimba goalkeeper insists that the loss was so colossal, that the team will have to do something special to defeat Spain on Sunday.
Enyeama was reacting to a question about the splendid play of the Eagles that still failed to give the team a victory.
“It’s so painful that we played well and were still on the losing side.
“I would have been a happier person if we played badly and won the game,” he said.
Uruguay now have the advantage, as all they need do, is beat Tahiti and hope that Spain defeat Eagles.
