Hull City set to hijack Yobo deal

The embattled captain of the Super Eagles, Joseph Yobo’s reported switch back to England is gathering more momentum after another newly promoted side, Hull City expressed interest in him.
The Fenerbahce defender has also been linked with a Premier League side, Cardiff City who were said to be keen on bringing the experience defender back to England.
But according to thisishullandeastriding.co.uk Hull City were ready to hijack the deal and beat every other suitor to the defender’s signature.
The 32-year-old is believed to be unsettled at Fenerbahce following the exit of manager Aykut Kocaman and will be pushed down the pecking order by the signing of defender Bruno Alves from Zenit St Petersburg.
Yobo was a huge success in England where he made 220 appearances in his eight seasons for Everton in the Premier League following a spell at Olympics Marseille. The defender also weighed in eight goals for Toffees during his stay at the Goodison Park.
Despite losing his place in the national team, the defender still had a fantastic season with the Yellow Canaries after he helped them to the Turkish Cup title. He was even recently voted the best central defender in the Turkish league.
Fenerbahce could allow their defender to go for £2million and Hull City are said to be ready to do the deals.

Apart from clubs in England, some clubs in the Turkish league are also said to be monitoring the development   and are poised to snap up one of the best defenders in the league.
