Juventus officials met their counterparts from Udinese on Tuesday to discuss their full-ownership bid for Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah.
Asamoah had joined the Old Lady at the beginning of the just ended campaign in a co-ownership deal from
9m for 50% rights for the Ghana international in a double deal which also saw Mauricio Isla also joining the champions.
The Serie-A champions are now looking to buy Asamoah’s absolute rights following his impressive first season display with the Bianconeri.
The 24-year-old will reportedly cost Juventus a further €8m for his full ownership – bringing his total transfer fee to €17m.
Juventus have however declined to do same with Mauricio Isla who failed to rediscover his hot form after spending extensive time on the sidelines through injury.
Asamoah in just his first season at Juventus has won the Italian Super Cup and the Scudetto.
