Messi, Neymar in brand war

Barcelona and Holland great, Johan Cruyff has said that it will be brands, not competition on the pitch, that will cause a breach in the relationship between Messi and Neymar.
The former Holland skipper had already warned that there might be conflict between these two main players,
but now, he has further explained, that it is the brands they both represent that will cause a rift.
“It is not the boys; it is Nike and Adidas. If you think about it a bit, you can see the problems that might arise, although I hope they won’t. For them it is nothing much, but then there are the contracts, Cruyff said.
Messi represents Adidas while Neymar is Nike.
“Whether Neymar is going to adapt or not remains to be seen. Everyone is talking and writing about this, but those that know anything about it are asking for him to be given some time.
“What we must not do is put any more pressure on him and let him do his own thing. People want him to be winning before we’ve even got going. He added.
There has been talk that the Barcelona will not contain both superstars, but Neymar had moved swiftly to counter that, by publicly praising Messi.
